mac and cheez
Ingredients
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
1. Cook macaroni according to package instructions. 2. In a separate saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. 3. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes. 4. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. 5. Add salt and pepper. 6. Bring mixture to a simmer and cook until thickened. 7. Stir in shredded cheese until melted. 8. Combine cheese sauce with cooked macaroni. 9. Serve hot.
