Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 1/2 cup julienned carrots
  • 1/2 cup julienned cucumber
  • 1/2 cup julienned zucchini
  • 1/2 cup bean sprouts
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup chopped spinach
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced beef (optional)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and gochujang. Marinate the beef in this mixture for at least 30 minutes. 2. In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Cook the marinated beef until fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and set aside. 3. In the same skillet, cook the eggs sunny-side up. 4. In the same skillet, stir-fry each vegetable separately until just cooked. Season with salt and pepper. 5. To assemble the bibimbap, place cooked rice in a bowl. Arrange the cooked vegetables, beef, and egg on top. Serve with extra gochujang on the side.
