Ingredients
- - 1 cup milk powder
- - 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- - 1/4 tsp baking soda
- - 2 tbsp ghee (clarified butter)
- - 1/2 cup milk
- - Oil for deep frying
- For the sugar syrup:
- - 1 cup sugar
- - 1 cup water
- - 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
- - Saffron strands (optional)
Instructions
Make dough using milk powder, flour, baking soda, and milk. Form small balls and deep fry on low heat until golden. Prepare a sugar syrup with water, sugar, and cardamom. Soak the fried balls in warm syrup for at least 1 hour before serving.
