Kofta

Ingredients
- - 500g minced beef or lamb
- - 1 onion, finely chopped
- - 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- - 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- - 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- - 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- - 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- - 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- - Salt to taste
- - 1/4 cup fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- - 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, chopped
- - 2 tablespoons gram flour (besan)
Instructions
Mix ground meat with grated onions, garlic, spices, and herbs. Form into balls and fry until browned. Simmer the meatballs in a tomato-based gravy with yogurt and spices until cooked through. Garnish with coriander and serve with rice or bread.
