Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef shank
- 1/2 cup ghee
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 1/4 cup wheat flour
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tbsp red chili powder
- 1 tbsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 6 cups water
- Ginger slices, green chilies, and fresh coriander for garnish
Instructions
1. Heat ghee in a large pot and fry the onions until golden brown.
2. Add the beef shank and ginger garlic paste, and cook until the meat is browned.
3. Add wheat flour and spices, and cook for a few minutes.
4. Pour in water, cover, and simmer on low heat for 4-5 hours or until the meat is tender.
5. Garnish with ginger slices, green chilies, and fresh coriander before serving.
