Pista Qeema Pulao

Ingredients
- 1 cup basmati rice
- 200g minced meat (beef or lamb)
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons ghee
- 1/2 cup shelled pistachios
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 2 cups water
Instructions
1. Wash and soak the rice for 30 minutes. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large pot, heat ghee and add cumin seeds.
3. Add sliced onions and cook until golden brown.
4. Add minced meat and cook until browned.
5. Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook for 2 minutes.
6. Add shelled pistachios and drained rice. Mix well.
7. Add water and bring to a boil.
8. Reduce heat, cover, and cook until rice is tender and water is absorbed.
9. Fluff rice with a fork before serving.
