hot chai
Ingredients
- 2 cups of water
- 2 black tea bags
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 4 cloves
- 4 cardamom pods
- 1 inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
- 2 cups of milk
- 4 tablespoons of sugar
Instructions
1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add the tea bags, cinnamon stick, cloves, cardamom pods, and ginger. Simmer for 5 minutes.
2. Add milk and sugar, bring to a boil.
3. Strain the chai into mugs and serve hot.
